Kickboxing

Slideshow de Kickboxing com fotos que tirei e sons que gravei nos combates que decorreram no Casino do Estoril.
Ainda ando ás voltas com o soundslides e a colocação dos mesmos no meu blog, que tem estado em constante actualização do seu modelo.
Tenho passado horas em pesquisa na minha aprendizagem quer de programação HTML, quer de na colocação de botões, links, ou seja a construcção e alteração do Blog.
Em termos dos sons que gravei ainda não estou muito à vontade a editar e ainda não estou satisfeito pois o que quero é articular bem os sons com as fotos, mas a pouco e pouco vou lá chegar.

During these days I have been going through all my archive of 2007, organizing, cleaning and recovering some photographs and in July last year during a meeting of the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union in Guimaraes, there was a major protest, that gather more than ten thousand protesters from all over the country, against the politic decisions on implementing the Flexi-Security working system in Portugal.
I was shooting the meeting and I was not schedule to shoot this event but because I didn’t have anything to shoot until late, I went outside of the facilities and took my camera and voice recorder.
I remember that it was one of the hottest days of this summer, people were making a lot of noise but with order, the police mount a security perimeter around the facilities and no disorders were register. I melt in to the crowd and start shooting and at the same time recording the sounds with my voice recorder hanged on my neck.
I mount this sound slides at that time but I didn’t know how to put it online, so it was waiting in my archive “collecting some dust”. I just learn it last week!!!
I know it is not an hot or fresh news but I want to show it. Enjoy it HERE

Lonely Day

Here is a slideshow, made with Soundslides which is a really easy and cheap program to make multimedia slideshows, after I made the slideshow I converted it with the same program to a Quicktime movie and uploaded in the web site blip.tv where you can create a free account and upload your videos. Then I just simply copied the Html code to my post and here it is.

Today I went downtown in Copenhagen and I meet Niels, a poor old man that spends is days with his Dog "Steven" in the streets of Copenhagen. First I started speaking with Niels in my few words in Danish but then he told me I could speak English with him and his English was really good.
He told me he is not a homeless but he didn't want to talk much about him. He also told me that is female Dog "Steven" is eight years old but he bought it just tree years ago, he decided to buy it because the previous owner treat this dog really bad and even hit him a lot. It seams to me that Niels and is Dog both have had difficult times but now they "found" each other and they seem really good friends.
